There was an idea that this term's SPS Judo visit might happen over half=term,
but most of the boys are out of London.
See you at Sheffield.

Just a line to check if there is interest in the Cambridge visit next Saturday?
Cambridge are making various arrangements and we could pass on names and details.

Judokas!
As regrettable as it may b, the last session of the term will be tomorrow (Friday), so we thought it would be nice to have a bit of a get together before. As most people eat, we figured we should meet up in the Union at 18.30 to grab dinner before the training starting at 20.00. After the session we are also likely to end up having a couple of pints for those who are interested.

Hey Guys!!
Your Captain speaking, calling for your attendance and participation in next year's committee. There will be a number of positions available for any of you guys who wants to both boost your CV and get more involved in the clubs activities over the coming year. Even if you hold a position of high importance it is really not that much work so its a very highly rewarding volunteering activity which I personally very strongly recommend.
In order to get the most suitable candidate for each position it is important to have as many people running for a given position as we can, and especially as many people voting as we can.
Place and time: We will meet in Lecture theatre 3 in the Blackett Laboratory (Physics) on Wednesday the 18th of March.
The candidates will present their intended programs for the coming year, followed by questions from the voters and finally the voting out of which the committee for next year will be selected.
Once again, here are the positions you can run for:
- Chair/President
- Treasurer
- Secretary (+kit/sponsorship)
- Competition Secretary
- Men´s Captain
- Women´s Captain
- Social Secretary
- Web Editor
Sorry about the longwinded e-mail... ELECTIONS ARE IMPORTANT SO ATTEND OR I WILL CHASE YOU AROUND WITH A WOODEN SPOON!
Judo love,
Guille

Dear fellow Judokas!
I hope everyone is getting more and more excited as we approach BUCS. This email is to tell you about yet another exciting competition, which in my opinion is the best one of the year... USIST 2015 will be held between 13th - 15th of March, and the judo competition will be held on Saturday 14th March. Our aim is to travel down on Friday 13th March.
Saturday evening is filled with great socials hosted by the University of Sheffield, including a boat race between each competing university, followed by a night in the Union!
Anyway... the judo aspect is really good and it is a respected competition with top referees attending so if you would like to enter, please email me your chosen weight category. There is no grade limit.
Accommodation, entry to the union and food for Saturday is covered by the entry fee of £15, also covering the competition fee.
