We will soon share a proposal based on top-down estimates of person-months (PMs) and travel costs, particularly for horizontal activities (e.g., project meetings, final conference, etc.). To help us finalize the budget, we would appreciate if you could provide an estimate of any "other costs” and/or “subcontracting” (if any) related to the activities you will carry out within the project, including a brief description for each cost item. Daniel Wiesen forsees at the moment the following further "Other costs" (aside from personnel and travel costs to project meetings): * Travel for dissemination (e.g. conferences etc.): about 10.000 Euro * Open access costs for publications: about 5.000 Euro * Organisation costs for co-creation workshop in WP5: about 5.000 Euro * Overall: about 20.000 Euro In case our overall budget should be above 430.000 Euro, we would additionally need about 5.000 Euro for the mandatory audit. Please note that this calculation is based on a scenario in which NO interventions would take place in Germany. In case interventions should take place in Germany, more budget items would be needed. We noticed another thing: * The Work Packages 3-5 have a very short duration (e.g. Work Package 5 runs only 10 months). * In our view it might make a lot of sense to prolong the duration of these Work Packages to 18 months per Work Package. * Could you be so kind and let us know if this might be possible? Thank you, Loredana. I would agree with Tanja that we should extend the duration of WPs 4 and 5, to make them overlap to some extent with WP6, in case needs emerge for redesigning aspects of the interventions once they are being implemented. But this does not mean that we have to give them 18 PMs. If the need does arise, I would expect the redesign would take place in a couple of months maximum.
