My current focus is about simulating the rotational VIV, so I wonder if the coordinate system transformation method for rotating bodies (Li et al, 2000) has been implemented in Nektar++. Hi Yong Wang, I am afraid we have not re-implemented this variant. We do however have a related technique for deforming meshes based on Global Mappings. See reference 71 in the attached. i believe this mathematically is equivalent. Cheers, Spencer.
