At the moment, I have generated my quadrilateral meshes with gmesh. Are there other options? Is it possible to convert the quadrilateral meshes generated by ICEM CFD for example? I am trying to better control the quadrilateral mesh generation. Gmesh is starting to turn into an annoying experience. Thank you very much. Alessandro
Hi Alessandro- You may want to look into Sandia National Lab's CUBIT package https://cubit.sandia.gov/tutorials/ <https://signal3domain.com/click?redirect=https%3A%2F%2Fcubit.sandia.gov%2Ftutorials%2F&dID=1645408422971&linkName=https://cubit.sandia.gov/tutorials/> That might be relatively easier to use than GMSH. Hi Alessandro, We have just posted a blog on converting from point wise to our format. Actually in this case we just use the gmsh output format. So this might be a possibility from other converters too. Cheers, Spencer. Hi Alessandro, Zhaoyu kindly provided an instruction on how to convert the ICEM mesh to Nektar++ mesh. I translated it and posted a blog.
