I've been sticking a few posters up around on the sherfield walkway and in SAF and the JCR, thanks for all of you who have volunteered to help me, I'm usually down in radio on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons. If you don't know who I am, I'm the guy who wears the "harry potter" glasses and presents the shipping forecast on Thursdays at 5; so if you ever feel like helping the radio promotions team just pop by and I'll give you something to scatter around campus. More importantly, something else you can all do is make posters for your own show. I've included the standard template it's A3 sized and has space for you to put a picture and some text to tell the world about your show. Feel free to mess around with the format, provided that you have the logo and web address fairly prominently and don't break union rules (see attached). I can't stress enough the importance of self promotion. If you have no time at all, make yourself a poster and email it to me, as I have quite a lot of free time and will endeavour to stick your poster up for you. However if you want a job done, it is best to do it yourself. Be mindful of the rules (again, see attached) but they were made to be broken. Once again a quick request for any first years and medics and anyone else who can get posters up in places I can't get to, namely halls of residence and St.Mary's/Reynolds; please please please give me a hand, you will have love and kindness and southern fried chicken from me for life. Finally a quick reminder to everyone who hasn't scheduled their show yet, and this is of special importance to White noise and News at 10 who are usually today, your shows aren't scheduled for this week and will not be recorded.
