The day will involve a mix of talks and discussion, with the purpose of initiating new research and collaborations. Proposed topics include: * Membrane shape during phagocytosis * The role of actin in endocytosis * Shape dependence of engulfment * Nanoparticle drug design * The role of the cytoskeleton in phagocytosis Confirmed speakers so far include: * Martin Howard, John Innes Centre, Norwich * Christian Soeller, University of Exeter * Steve Royle, University of Warwick * Rhoda Hawkins, University of Sheffield * Andrew Thorley, Imperial College London * Simon Johnston, University of Sheffield Places are limited, but to register your interest in attending please fill out the registration form at http://www.exeter.ac.uk/davidrichards/workshop-cyto-immune.html.
