[FILM-Users 00541] NEXT WEEK: HCS Demo Olympus ScanR
Dear users, Some of you have voiced interest in demoing the microscopes for high-content imaging - thank you very much. The first demo will be next week, starting Tuesday 3rd March with the Olympus ScanR and the CellSens software (see flyers attached). You can book a slot using the "booking diary" on Scratch \\film-nas.med.ic.ac.uk\scratch\_HCS Demo<file:///\\film-nas.med.ic.ac.uk\scratch\_HCS%20Demo> Olympus will have one of their specialist from Germany during the first few days (Tuesday-Wednedsay), so take advantage of those days! ? If you won't be there during the week but still want someone to demo your samples, shoot us an email In preparation for the demo, can you also fill out the attached document with as much detail as you can on your sample, the microscope you are currently using, the current analysis workflow, and the "ideal" output from the images. You can put a sample image in scratch, under the same folder as above (_HCS Demo). ? For those who have contacted us already, can you still fill the form and send it to us? (it will be useful also for the next rounds of demos) If you wish, and haven't already done so, you can come and talk to us. I (debbi) will be available tomorrow morning (9am - 11am) or afternoon (1pm-4pm), or else on Monday 2nd (or send us an email) Also, if some of you are available on Thursday 5th of March at 2pm, Nikon are coming over to discuss imaging and analysis requirements so they can prepare some acquisition and analysis workflow in advance of the demo. The setup they are bringing would be a combined confocal/widefield modality. ? Let me know if you wish to meet them ? If the 5th of march does not work, but you are still interested in meeting them, let me know. Again, if any questions, don't hesitate to contact us!
