Musculoskeletal Technology Network
The Institute of Biomedical Engineering has created a series of Technology Networks drawing together researchers from all disciplines across Imperial College. Each Technology Network will promote, facilitate and coordinate large-scale, multi-disciplinary research programmes to generate patient benefits and novel IP in a specific therapeutic/disease management area.
The Networks will bring together engineers, scientists and medical researchers, to apply new technologies to the fast growing medical devices industry. These multi-disciplinary research teams include practising clinicians to guide technological developments.
The Technology Networks provide an excellent forum for promoting multi-disciplinary interaction, disseminating scientific information, training and developing research staff and, crucially, they will create a critical mass of knowledge and skill, capable of attracting research funding.
