Z-HEALTH WP6 and co-creation
CAUTION: This message came from outside Imperial. Do not click links or open attachments unless you recognise the sender and were expecting this email. Dear Mojca and Katja, Hope this email finds you well. As agreed during the call, I would like to remind you of the reformulation of WP6 (for your convenience, below the tasks proposed by Franco during the call). In addition, it would be important to receive your contribution to section 1 of the proposal too (enclosed the template). @Katja, during the call I understood that you had shared a text about youth co-creation but I am unable to locate it. Could you please share it again? Thank you in advance. Perhaps we can do the following: I do a quick introduction to Z-Health during meeting on 24th and gather some input, as well as collect a few names from YAG members who would be interested in providing more detailed feedback in a separate meeting with you that we can arrange for a later date. In regards to your questions: While some YAG members are a part of other youth organisations, they are selected on an individual basis and have to sign an NDA with JA PreventNCD. I think the risk of them or their organisations being involved in competing proposals is very low due to the sad fact that a lot of youth organizations have difficulties accessing Horizon or research spaces in general. It's not very common for them to engage in Horizon - a few can be found in EU4Health, while the vast majority of those who even are active in EU grants usually go for Erasmus+. Yes, I'm happy to taken on the challenge of drafting the text about youth co-creation. Is there a deadline you would need this by? Kind regards, Katja

To sporočilo izvira izven naše organizacije. Bodite pozorni pri vsebini in odpiranju povezav ali prilog! Dear Katja, Thank you for your message and proposal. Unfortunately, 24th March is a terrible date, because we are running a whole day event on ultra-processed food policies at Imperial, and it would be very difficult for me to participate in the YAG meeting. Of course, I would fully trust you to convey the spirit of the proposal and gather comments from participants if you were prepared to go ahead with that plan. Alternatively, I would be happy to make myself available on another date if you thought an additional meeting could be set. Just a quick thought. I am not sure how members of the YAG are selected, but if this is through youth organisations to which they belong, is there a risk that some of those organisations might be involved in competing proposals? Sorry if this sounds slightly paranoid, but I would like to avoid giving away information that might be used inappropriately. A final point on the writing up of a section of the proposal on youth co-creation. I wonder how you would feel about preparing one page of text on this subject that we could include in the general description of our methodological approach. I think this should build both on the JA PreventNCD and on the previous Co-Create project. I would emphasise that we are not just using co-creation as a buzzword, but we are building on concrete experiences, from which we can derive important lessons. It would also be useful if this description included an illustration of the structure of youth involvement that we propose in Z-HEALTH, including the role of the YAG alongside national (or local) youth organisations. Thank you. Dear Franco and Z-Health management team, As promised during our last meeting, I am reaching out about the opportunity for you to join a part of our ordinary YAG meeting on March 24th to present the Z-Health project proposal and have a discussion with youth to obtain their perspective on the concepts. The monthly meeting itself will take place on Zoom on Tuesday, the 24th of March, 17:00-19:00 CET. We have one or two agenda items that we need to cover in the beginning, but would you perhaps be able to join in at around 17:30 or so? I could allocate you 30 min (or more if needed) - 10 min to introduce Z-Health and 20 min for discussion with YAG. Would that work for you and your schedules? If not, please let me know and we can find an alternate timing for an extraordinary meeting with YAG. Kind regards, Katja
