Dear Ayo, Thank you for your recent message regarding the Z-Health bid. Following recent changes in the team and the level of engagement across the consortium, Franco and I have taken a pragmatic decision to streamline the partnership for the bid. On that basis, we will not be including UCPH as a formal partner in the current submission. This is a practical decision rather than a reflection on the value of your input. Your offer to contribute to the conceptual framing is exactly the kind of perspective that would strengthen the proposal. However, given the administrative requirements of a Horizon Europe project, and the limited number of partners we can practically include, we feel your contribution might better serve the project through a subcontract rather than UCPH being a formal partner. We would very much like to keep the door open. If, as the proposal develops, we identify a clearly defined area where your expertise would add value, we would be keen to explore this with you. More broadly, we see this as part of a longer-term collaboration between Imperial and UCPH, and I hope we can identify other opportunities to work together where the alignment is stronger from the outset. Thank you again for your openness and flexibility on this, and I hope we can stay in touch as things progress. Regards, Jack
