We have started making some preliminary internal estimates regarding possible “other costs” and subcontracting items linked to the activities we may carry out in the project. However, at this stage, these are still quite indicative, as we do not yet have full
visibility on the overall budget allocation and person-months that may be foreseen for our organisation.
From our side, it would be very helpful to first have at least an indicative sense of the total budget envelope and/or PM allocation expected per partner. This would allow us to shape any estimates for subcontracting and other direct costs in a more realistic
and proportionate way. Otherwise, there is a risk of building assumptions that may not match the personnel resources eventually available.
Could you perhaps share a little more detail on this point, if already available? Even an indicative range would be very useful for us in order to provide budget inputs that are sound and workable.
Many thanks in advance, and of course we remain available to revert quickly once we have a clearer sense of the overall framework.

as announced during the call, we are currently working on the project budget.
We will soon share a proposal based on top-down estimates of person-months (PMs) and travel costs, particularly for horizontal activities (e.g., project meetings, final conference, etc.).
To help us finalize the budget, we would appreciate if you could provide an estimate of any "other costs” and/or “subcontracting” (if any) related to the activities you will carry out within the project, including a brief description
for each cost item. We will do our best to accommodate your requests in the budget that will be circulated shortly.
Please send us your contributions by April 7.
