Dear Mindaugas,
Its great to hear from you. At this stage, we are trying to complete the set of countries where we plan to implement interventions as part of the project. It is in this context that we contacted potential partners in Lithuania, given your strong public health work. We have made the decision that we will include in the partnership the National Public Health Institute of each country committing to implement an intervention package. In some instances, Public Health Institutes may be supported by a local university. Whether it would be ideal to have you involved, given that your University is already participating in another proposal, depends on whether the other bid would also plan to implement interventions in Lithuania, and whether the National Public Health Institute is also involved in the other bid. I would like to avoid proposing alternative sets of interventions in the same country in two different proposals. If the role of your university in the other bid was different, then I would be less concerned.
I look forward to hearing further from you.
Sincerely,
Franco

Dear Arnfinn, Dear all,
It is good to hear from you Arnfinn, I am doing well, thank you 🙂
I would be happy to participate in a consortium. However, some of my other colleagues from the faculty are preparing their own proposal for this call. I know that it is not an obstacle in Horicon requirements per se, but I want to be transparent with you as well. If you still want to have me (and possibly some of my team from the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences) on board, I am interested to join.
Kind regards,
Mindaugas

Dear Mindaugas
Hope that you are doing fine!
I am involved in an international consortium working on a Horizon research proposal lead by Franco Sassi at the Imperial College in a UK for a call on "Behavioural interventions as primary prevention for Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) among young people".
The consortium is interested in connecting with a partner in Lithuania, either at the public health institute or a university eventually.
Is this something that would be of interest for your institutions, or do you have suggestions for other people we could contact?
Best regards
Arnfinn
