As promised, I am sending you a summary of the contributions we would like you to provide for the proposal, as discussed in the call today. If you are keen to go ahead with both intervention packages (for the two age sub-groups), I will ask you to provide this information separately for each intervention. 1. Provide some context (a couple of paragraphs, half page maximum) on the three health conditions that we are considering in the project (obesity, mental health and addictions) in young people in Ukraine. 2. Identify key local players that will need to be involved for the successful implementation of the interventions (e.g. ministry of education, school authorities, “health ambassadors” etc.). Please, consider whether any of these actors may require resources from the project for their involvement, and whether they may need to be listed as partners or sub-contractors in the proposal. 3. Identify the settings where the interventions will take place. How many with they be? Where are they located in the country? You mentioned involving 2-3 Oblasts, which seems an appropriate scale to me for this project. I would not go beyond that, but we need to identify how many schools can be involved in the intervention in those areas. 4. Identify numbers of young people who will be involved in the above areas. I am attaching the intervention description that has been provided by the Norwegian Institute of Public Health for this proposal. This is very comprehensive and well written, so you may use this as an example. This description currently does not include the context information on health conditions in young people in Norway, but this will be added. Finally, as explained in the description of the intervention for the age group 19-25 that I shared previously with you, I wanted to remind you that young people can be recruited for this intervention either when they are in their final year of secondary school (so, when they are still 18, presumably), or in an appropriate setting (e.g. university, workplace) after they finish secondary school.
