Dear Pedro,

Thank you for a quick but very useful call today. As promised, I am sharing two documents that provide descriptions of the two intervention packages we are planning to implement, respectively, in the age groups 12-18 and 19-25. As discussed, we see EMSA’s main contribution in the design and delivery of the health literacy component of both interventions, but we would welcome additional inputs on other aspects of the intervention packages, as appropriate.

I am also attaching a diagram that shows the work package structure of the project, which will give you an idea of how the interventions fit in the broader scheme.

Among the benefits of participating in this project, I would like to emphasise the following:

  1. The opportunity to have a rigorous evaluation of the impacts of the interventions deployed.
  2. The collaboration with national public health institutes, meant to ensure a sustainable implementation of the interventions, which are meant to provide a longer-term model for Euroepan countries, beyond the duration of the project.

Please, let me know if you would like more information on any aspects of the project. We are planning to circulate a version of the full proposal on Monday morning to the whole consortium. If you decide that you would be interested in joining the project, I would be happy to include you in the circulation list, so that you can provide your comments and suggestions on all aspects of the proposal.

I remain available for providing additional information, by email or in a call.

You don't often get email from vpe@emsa-europe.eu. Learn why this is important

Dear Franco, Katja

I am also available now so it works for me!

Best regards,

Subject: Z-Health and EMSA - Potential Partnership

Dear Pedro and Isabela,

I would like to connect you with the coordinators of the Z-Health project - Franco Sassi and the team from Imperial College London - to discuss the details regarding EMSA's participation as a potential partner.

Dear Franco,

Please meet Pedro Barata, EMSA's Vice-President for External Affairs, and Isabela Šarec Tobias, EMSA's Treasurer.

EMSA is very interested in learning more about the project and is seriously considering joining the project, pending the information on expected responsibilities, involvement and role.

I suggested we organize a short call in the upcoming days with them to discuss this. Pedro already shared his availability: He is available today after 17:30 CEST, on Sunday until 14:30 CEST, Monday until 12:00 CEST, and Tuesday until 15:00 CEST.

Would any of these times work for you and your team, Franco? I am also available during all above-mentioned dates&times except for Tuesday.

Additionally, EMSA would appreciate any additional info on the project to get more acquainted with the proposal - perhaps you can share a concept note with them? (I was only able to find an old version but I'm sure you keep an updated one on hand!)

Kind regards,

Katja
