Dear Heather and Z-Health team,
I was trying to find the initial framework for interactions between domains on Box but couldn't find it anywhere.
Could you please share it with me either via link or attachment so I can start working on refining it?
Also, a few other things:
- We mentioned having a meeting with the JA PreventNCD Youth Advisory Group to get their inputs about the Z-Health project proposal. I can arrange a meeting over the next 2 weeks so please let me know if this is still a go, who would want to participate and
how long of a meeting do we want. (If 30min would be enough, the presentation&discussion could be incorporated into the monthly YAG meeting planned on the 24th, but if we would need more time, then organising a separate meeting would be better.) This way,
we can kickstart the co-creation with youth aspect in the planning phase already.
- If we are searching for additional partners to join the Consortium, here are a few ideas:
- DTH-Lab - their work is focused on governing digital futures, and they did a lot of work on the nexus between digital and commercial determinants of health last year, with a focus on how are digital environments connected to youth behaviours.
- Scouts (WAGGGS or WOSM or their national branches) - could be heplful for the implementation of interventions as they already have established mechanisms for peer-to-peer learning, capacity building, advocacy and empowerment that we could tap into. They
also include youth in the entire age bracket of this Horizon call (12-25) and could be a good channel for dissemination. (For example: WAGGGS currently has an active project in a few European countries including Slovenia on the topic of health.)
- ENGSO Youth - a youth organisation focused on physical activity but they had projects on mental health and obesity in the past as well. Another option to consider as a potential partner.
- EMSA (European Medical Students' Association) - a youth organisation with many local and national branches who conduct peer-to-peer activities for other youth (especially younger youth in primary or secondary schools) on various health topics.
- IHLA (International Health Literacy Association) - not sure if they are an entity eligible to apply for EU grants but they have many experts and working groups in various areas connected to health literacy (from digital health literacy, to health behaviour,
etc.)
- In terms of interventions that include co-creation with youth, I wanted to ask if we are considering also the high-energy/high-efforts ones such as service safari, (digital) mystery shopping, photovoice, future-casting & scenario labs, hackathons, walkability
studies, etc. or do we prefer to keep to the more passive ones like digital diaries, health apps beta-testing, communication strategies, etc. Happy to provide additional info on this if needed.
Kind regards,
Katja
