CCing the list as this will be generally useful. By the end of the month is the plan. It will administered through ICT and I believe that the process will involve registering it with the shop and then it will be automatic. Although, I don't quite understand the process if you already have it installed and just want it renewed rather than reinstall. Adrian and Steve any thoughts? One of the things that is on my todo list over the summer is to sort out the Physics Departmental Computing pages. best, david On 22/07/13 15:47, Bantges, Richard J wrote:
Hi David,
A couple of people in SPAT have their renewals of Labview coming up. Do you know how quickly the Departmental licence agreement will be up and running?
Cheers, Rich

Dear All,
thanks for the replies. There are enough people using it that it makes sense for the department to buy a departmental license. Please distribute this through your groups so that people don't by anymore individual licenses.

For renewals you will still need to contact the shop but just put in that you are in Physics and that the departmental license should cover your licenses going forwards.
