Dear Physics Computing people, Our group has a machine learning course for our first year PGs each year. This course is run by Yandex (the Russian google) and is very hands on. Our students speak very highly of it and seem to learn a lot. This year Yandex have said that they would be happy for us to allow more people to attend and so we are going to allow a total of ~25 (including our 11 first years). While we run this for our first year PG students it would be suitable for any researcher actively interested in this area (it is a pretty intense course). We have created an Imperial College events page for this course (complete with a link to the registration page) and this can be found http://www3.imperial.ac.uk/newsandeventspggrp/imperialcollege/naturalscience... While Yandex are very generously giving this course, we need to cover the expenses of their team while in London. If these are divided by 25 (ie everybody paying an equal share) this comes out to be ~£220/person so this is what we are charging. Please send forward this to anybody who you think might be interested. Best, david
