Dear Physics Computing Committee, There will be a FoNS Research Computing meeting on the 12th July and try to have a physics meeting the week before the FRCC (we missed the last one because Easter got in the way). So I have set up a doodle poll at: https://doodle.com/meeting/participate/id/ep2koGNb I have included some ICT people as it would be good to hear about managed devices and physics UG teaching windows deployment as well as the RCS etc. If you have agenda items then please let me know. Best, david
Hi, It has been reported to me that we have a Physics research away day on the afternoon of the 5th, so I have removed that option. Best, david On 22/06/2023 10:38, David Colling wrote:

Dear all, There are strikes planned on Thursday 6th July and Friday 7th July so I can not attend on those days. I think all three college Unions are on strike on those days to try and get a fair pay offer. The last offer College made at the end of last week only added a £500 one-off payment to reflect (they said) a reduction in payments College makes for USS pensions (an on-going saving not a one-off saving for College). The physics awayday ends on Wednesday 8th at 12.30 so Wednesday afternoon may still be feasible. thanks Tim -----Original Message----- From: physics-departmental-computing-bounces@imperial.ac.uk <physics-departmental-computing-bounces@imperial.ac.uk> On Behalf Of David Colling Sent: 22 June 2023 10:56 To: physics-departmental-computing <physics-departmental-computing@imperial.ac.uk>; Joannou, Ingrid <i.joannou@imperial.ac.uk>; Willson, Thomas H <t.willson@imperial.ac.uk>; Kibaroglu, Okan <o.kibaroglu@imperial.ac.uk>; Richards, Andrew <a.j.richards@imperial.ac.uk>; Bearpark, Michael J <m.bearpark@imperial.ac.uk>; Bennett, Jason W <jason.bennett@imperial.ac.uk> Subject: Re: [Physics-Departmental-Computing] Next Physics Computing meeting Hi, It has been reported to me that we have a Physics research away day on the afternoon of the 5th, so I have removed that option. Hi Tim, There were others who had already said thatthey could not make the 5th anyway. I see that you cannot make the 10th or 11th as well so is there anybody else from Theory you could send as a deputy? Best, david On 22/06/2023 12:13, Evans, Tim S wrote:

Hi, I have just looked at the doodle poll and who is (EA) Lida Mnatsakanian - they don't seem to exist in the college directory. Best, david On 22/06/2023 10:38, David Colling wrote:

Hi David, It's me! I am Michele's new EA - Gayle told me to include myself in the poll as you usually need her to minute that meeting, and as I have now taken the role it would be my responsibility to minute it? Hi All, If people could fill in the doodle (if they haven't already) by the end of the week I would be grateful. Already that there is not a single date that everybody can make but the 11th is looking the most popular. If you cannot make the date we choose then please suggest a deputy. The doodle is at: https://doodle.com/meeting/participate/id/ep2koGNb Best, david
