Dear All, I hope that you are all enjoying the festive season and that you have a wonderful New Year. For a number of years we have given our PhD student an intensive two week course on machine learning given by Yandex. Last year we opened this up to other members of college and we had about 25 people from different departments (including our own PhD students). As last year was a success we have decided to invite people from other groups and departments take the course again this year. The course is a mixture of the theoretical and the practical and we think that it is very good indeed. The dates for next year's course are 23 Jan-06 Feb 2017. This is to help cover the costs of the Yandex instructors (Yandex only charge us for the expenses of the instructors in London and nothing else).
