Hi Bernard, That is great. In the meantime we will just keep using the email address as per usual (unless we hear otherwise). Best, david On 10/09/2025 12:30, Brzezinski, Bernard K wrote:
Hello David,
I hope you are well.
I think this is a good idea. I already have a couple more lists to migrate, and together with physics-departmental-computing it should give me a large enough test group.
My goal is to complete the test migration before the end of September. We will monitor the results for a few weeks and, provided everything is stable, proceed with migrating the remaining lists. (Ironically, it’s actually easier to migrate everything at once than just a small selected group.) I’ll also send detailed communication on what to expect before I proceed with the migration.
@Pietzuch, Peter R <mailto:prp@imperial.ac.uk> – thank you for offering to involve the whole DOC. For now, I’ll focus on the selected test group. Once the tests are completed, we’ll officially introduce Mailman 3, and I’m sure we’ll start receiving requests for new mailing lists in no time.

Dear Mark,
My apologies for not replying earlier. I read your email when I was running two weeks of summer school and went on holiday straight afterwards and so forgot about it.
I have cc'ed the physics-departmental-computing list as I am sure that we will have willing testers there. In fact one of the things that we could try is migrating this list mailman 3 - does this sound like a good idea?
Best,
david

Dear Mark,
Thanks for your email. I don't have people in my group who want to be
creating mailman lists right now. However, we could expose this to all
of DoC if you want to roll this out incrementally.
Cheers,
Peter

Hi Both,
As I believe David has spoken to you about in the past, ICT have been
setting up a new mailman 3 service and this is now ready for testing.
David mentioned that you would both have users willing to do this and
ensure that the service is fit for purpose. Would you be willing to
speak to your respective groups and forward me those users who want
to use the new mailman 3 service before it goes live?
Many thanks,
