Hi All, I was writing a summary of the RSE discussion and found that I was essentially summarising the excellent notes that Beth took at the meeting. These notes can be found at: https://imperiallondon.sharepoint.com/:w:/r/sites/PhysicsComputingCommittee… Instead at the meeting tomorrow, I will put forward a suggestion for a way forward that if we agree on I will put into an updated document that I will discuss with the executive. Tomorrow's meeting

Hi All, Physically the meeting will be in Blackett 532 - 12:00->13:00. The teams meeting details were sent to the teams members last week. However, I don't keep the teams membership as up to date as this list so some people will not have got it so the link is at the end of this email. I have seen no requests for agenda slots (if I have missed any then I apologise please send them again and I will add them), so here is the agenda that I have: - Welcome - News from RCS (me reading out some of Andy's slides for the FoNS meeting on Wednesday) - Other news from ICT - Okan - Cyber Security (VPN, other activities, Report to UMB) - Tom Willson - Brief update on FAIR Data - Me looking for "friendly users" - RSE Discussion - I will send around a short summary this evening - AoB Regarding the VPN situation - I have had many (few tens) reports of minor problems that people are having with zscalar and these are cited as reasons that people (understandably) want to keep using the VPN. It would be helpful if you could gather these from your communities and bring them to the meeting. We can then discuss them with Tom, and more importantly how to resolve them. I suspect that many just require documentation.
