Dear Computing committee people, I am looking for agenda items for our meeting on Wednesday so please as I want to circulate an agenda later today or tomorrow - so please send things tat you would like us to discuss.. Some of the items that have occurred to me are: - News and plans from ICT - Software stack for the teaching machines - Web pages (out of date and only in the staff information) - what would we like - The responses to the survey were interesting[1] but I still think that a round table where people say what their group does (in computing terms) and what is important to them would be useful. Computing Committee , survey and meeting

Dear All, Thank you for agreeing to be part of the newly reformed Physics Departmental Computing Committee. I hope that this will be very useful group over the next few years. I think that we need to get an idea of what our computing needs are now and in the immediate future. I have set up a google form to try to gather this information. It is far from perfect and will not fit any individual group perfectly but please do your best to work with this imperfect construction. I will try to turn the returns into a living document. I think that we should meet roughly once a term and I have set up a doodle for our first meeting. Please fill it in at your earliest convenience.
