Next time we look at renewing the Mathematica license, should we just buy a bunch of Raspberry Pi machines which <http://www.pcpro.co.uk/news/385567/raspberry-pi-gets-wolfram-mathematica-fo…> now have Mathematica included for free??? - http://blog.wolfram.com/2013/11/21/putting-the-wolfram-language-and-mathema… I'd guess the processing power isn't there for serious calculations but it's an interesting idea and yet another good use for the Pi Steve

Hi All, I have been underwhelmed with agenda items so I hope that today's meeting will e short, however i think that it is probably still worth us meeting up for continuity. Location Room 532 Blackett, time 12:30 Things i think that we should cover: - Teaching, o years 1 and 2 o computational Physics (Robert sends his apologies) o project resources - Licensing (do we have anything to discuss here or are we now happy?) - News from ICT (mainly covered by Adrian's email - I guess that we should go through it and see if we have any questions) - Items to discuss with ICT - AOB best, david

Dear All, Just a reminder that we have a meeting tomorrow. The time and location are 12;30 in room 532. I will circulate an agenda tomorrow morning. However, one item that might be worth considering in advance are items to be discussed between the HoD and ICT in a forthcoming meeting. the rest of the items on tomorrow's agenda will have no surprises.
