The new license server is on ICLIC10 (because the old server is on its last legs and we were wanting to move things off and a new license makes it an appropriate point at which to do that)! The old instance of the License server will cease working on the 16^th May. If anyone asks why they can’t run the Intel compilers after that then the reason will be because they are not pointing at the correct license server! The new license file for use is attached to this email and may be distributed and used by staff and researchers in *_Maths, Physics, IMS and Materials_* (who are directly connected with the Physics joint venture work). Matthew should have or will shortly receive the latest Linux compilers on DVD via Dan Moore – again these can be used to update previous software versions. If anyone needs any help with this then please don’t hesitate to contact me directly or log a job for assistance with the Service Desk.
