First, I tested 2D geometry, and it worked. However, when I tried to add rotation, it didn't work. As far as I'm aware, Nektar's rotation is constrained on the z axis, therefore I built my channel around that. I created "GEOMETRY DIM="2" SPACE="3">" so that a 2D mesh could be obtained in 3D space and rotated about the z-axis. Nevertheless, I keep getting the message "Fatal: Level 0 assertion violation output coord 2 is not defined." Who can advise me on what to do? I truly appreciate it. Thanks, Ali A. Hi Ali, I am not sure what you want to obtain. You have a square duct, which you model as a strip in the z-direction, witch you wish to rotate around z-axis? I do not think this is possible. In general the Space and Dim in the mesh have to be the same. Unless, what you can do is to have a Homogeneous (Fourier) expansion in the z-direction. Than you provide a 2D mesh and expand it in the third dimension. For the square you would have a square in the (x,y)-plane and expand it in the z-direction. But this is not rotation. Sorry if this is not much help, Cheers, Stan *Faculty of Power and Aeronautical Engineering* Nowowiejska 21/25 Str. 00-665 Warsaw, Poland phone +48 (22) 234 51 70 <https://www.pw.edu.pl/engpw> On 5.02.2023 05:30, Ali Ahmed Abdulrasool - علي احمد عبد الرسول wrote:
