Rotational arguments for periodic faces

I am using periodic boundary conditions. I am getting the following error: "Unable to determine face orientation". I referred to the relevant section of user guide (please see screenshot). I am unable to understand how should I change the rotation argument such that I can simulate a periodic flow. It would really help if I get some more details about this. Hi Vidhi, Did you get this sorted. I suspect you need to use the peralign option which ensures periodic composites have the elements ordered in a consistent manner and triangular faces are aligned so that the singular vertex is pointing in the same direction. Cheers, Spencer. Hi Spen, Thanks for the tip. I was able to change boundary conditions to dirichlet to get around this. Good to know this! V ,-~~-.___._. / | ' \ | |--------.
