The issues are related to installing third-party software. Although we installed some of the packages (LAPACK, ARPACK) separately, we are still getting some error messages. We are also getting errors related to VTK which we figured out to be related to open cascade. Anyway, the main problem is that we are not familiar with Linux systems. Hence, it would be very helpful if anyone can help us with the installation. We can give our TeamViewer ID and password so that anyone willing to help us can access our system. This may be an awkward request, but this will save us a lot of time. Samik
Hi Samik, Can you tell us a bit more about the installation issues you’re having? If you can provide some further details, we can try and offer assistance via this list. What version of Linux are you installing on? Are you installing from source code or from packages? Are you trying to use a specific feature of Nektar++ (e.g. are you trying to use the mesh generation capabilities? If you’re not, then OpenCASCADE won’t be required. You may also not need to build with VTK.) It sounds like you’ve made good progress so far. If you can provide us with some further details, including the error you’re getting, and the output from the build/install process, there will hopefully be a straightforward answer to resolve the issue so you can get Nektar++ installed and running. Best wishes, Jeremy
