Nektar++ and Mesh Generators
Dear All, I'm a new Nektar++ user and I want to use it in my PhD thesis which is about stenosed arteries. I want to learn that is it possible to generate mesh with mesh generators other than Gmesh like ICEM CFD, Ansys Workbench Mesher with .msh extension to get .xml file of Nektar++? Regards, Kamil
Hi Kamil, We don't currently have a reader for any of the Ansys formats as we have no users that currently utilise these products. The current supported formats are: - Gmsh - Nektar - Nektar++ - .ply - Semtex - StarCCM+ - VTK If you are interested, you can write an input module for the mesh converter which would allow you to read the format. However I would advise attempting an alternative package if possible. Thanks, Dave On 27 Jun 2014, at 01:09, Kamil Ozden <kamil.ozden.me@gmail.com> wrote:
