Hi Nikesh, I have tested FieldConvert with the input files you provided on a build of Nektar++ 5.0.1 running on Ubuntu 18.04 and the command that you have provided below ("FieldConvert -m addfld:fromfld=geom.fld:scale=1 geom.xml geom.fld geom2.fld”) runs successfully and geom2.fld is created. Can you provide some further details on your Nektar++ 5.0.1 build? What platform are you using? Did you build from source or install from packages? If you built from source, can you provide the link to the source archive you downloaded? If you can also provide us with your CMake build configuration, that could also be very helpful in identifying the problem. Thanks, Jeremy

Dear all, A quick update on this to say that there does seem to be an issue with running the FieldConvert addfld module in the current master branch (but not the 5.0.1 release where this works OK). Thanks for reporting this Nikesh. I’ve opened an issue (https://gitlab.nektar.info/nektar/nektar/-/issues/256 <https://gitlab.nektar.info/nektar/nektar/-/issues/256>) so feel free to make any additions or corrections in the issue. Best wishes, Jeremy
