Hi James, Thanks for taking a look and for your feedback. I have looked at the session file a few times but was not able to determine if something is wrong with the definition of my boundary regions. Regarding Driver, I am using the Pre-compiled Linux package if that is what your question was. I have attached a zipped file containing the relevant file as per your suggestion. It has the original mesh file, Nektar mesh file generated from Nekmesh, and the Session file. But again, this is just a first guess from the backtrace. Maybe look at the mesh file and grep the composites tag and grab all the lines after that. Then make sure each of the composites you have in in that tag are present in BoundaryRegions in the session file. Other than that - are you using a different Driver than default?
If you can send through those files - someone should be able to take a look for you.

I am trying to study compressible flow over a NACA airfoil with Nektar++ and I am seeing a Segmentation fault while running the simulation. The steps for creating the simulation are as follows:
1. Create mesh in GMSH (File attached) 2. Convert GMSH to Nektar++ compatible format using NekMesh 3. Setup the session file as per problem statement (Session file attached).

Hi Varun, I can't seem to reproduce your error on my end. It does seem to blow up in the first time-step but that is caught and does return a specific error not a Segmentation Fault. Can you check the syntax of your command line entry for me. It should be: <Any mpi syntax> CompressibleNavierStokesSolver naca_RS_new.xml session_naca_RS_compressible.xml So more generally: <mpi utility> <mpi flags> <Nektar Utility> <module/module options> <mesh> <session> <any IO> <flags> Can you also please confirm the version you're using? Using both the latest master branch and one compiled in April of this year I don't seem to get the same error.
