Gmsh mesh seems fine, but Nekmesh points out error
Hi all, I'm using Nektar+ 4.4.1 and have run Gmsh 4.1.3, 4.1.4 and 4.1.5. When I generate the mesh it seems to be fine on all Gmsh versions. No error output on my .msh file whatsoever. However, when I use Nekmesh to generate the .xml file the following error emerges (both for compressed and uncompressed conversion): [image: image.png] Could any one provide some input on how do I solve this? Hi Icaro, Gmsh 4.x and its associated mesh file format 4.x was only released recently, after Nektar++ 4.4.1 was released. I have added support for the 4.x Gmsh file format in master and it should be working. Can you update your version of Nektar++ to the current master and try again? Alternatively, you may try to generate your mesh using Gmsh 3.x or earlier and then use your old Nektar++ release. I would also like to take this opportunity to invite you to try our very own mesh generator, NekMesh. If you would like to give it a try, we have a couple of tutorials (https://www.nektar.info/community/tutorials/) and I can assist you if you need any help.
