Hi Andrei, As far as I know, the quasi 3d compressible solver should work, but it has not been extensively used and tested in a while. Cheers, Giacomo On Thu, Feb 4, 2021 at 6:21 PM Cimpoeru, Ionut Andrei < IonutAndrei.Cimpoeru@rolls-royce.com> wrote:

This is also my understanding too. We have not tested it to any great extend and so typically rely on extruding the 2D meshes to make a 3D mesh currently. @Giacomo: Who was the student at Southampton who was further develop this solver. Possibly we should check with him and see if he has an updated branch. I am cc’ing Zhen-Guo since I recall he was a friend of Zhen-guo. Cheers, Spencer. Dear all, Yes, Shujie from Southampton is using the quasi3D of CFS, who is cc'ed. But as far as I know, he only uses the Euler equation system in his acoustic simulations. Best wishes, Zhen-Guo On 2021/2/8 下午5:29, Cimpoeru, Ionut Andrei wrote:
