Navier-Stokes: Linear Stability Analysis pressure field
Dear All, I would like to carry out a linear stability analysis. Is it possible to obtain the pressure field of the direct or the adjoint eigenmodes? Best regards, Péter
Hi Peter, it is rather irritating it is not dumping that at present. We only need the velocity field when performing the arnoldi method and so this is why we only have the velocity components in the output. If you use the eigenvector as the initial condition to a set up of the same linearised Navier-Stokes on the same mesh the output will then be just a scaled value of the eigenvector but will also then include the pressure.
