Have a look at the POINTSTYPE option in the expansion definition.
You can find some examples of its use in the user manual. I am not
sure of all the possibilities it gives you, but you can always
look into the code, and just try out possible options (there is
some kind of an enum that would contain all the possibilities).
For the equidistant spacing it is default for the output to vtk or
Tecplot formats, not sure you can use it in computations?

In the expression below, as I understood
correctly, you can change the order of the polynomial. How
can I can change the distribution of the nodes inside the
element i.e. Gauss Lobatto, Legendre Gauss Lobatto or
Equidistant Spacing? Thanks a lot for your help guys.
