Hi Dev, I think your simulation already looks quiet good. At which Reynoldsnumber runs this situation? And could you sent me your mesh please? Which kind of expansion type do you use? And which kind of parameters do you set (for example for the upwind-type)? Actually the only way I can run my simulation is with a coarse mesh and p=1 with M=0.4, Re=408000 and time step O(10^5) according to CFL=0.9. Changing the CFL does not change my results by trying to run this simulation with p=2 and the same mesh. It terminates. Actually I am trying to locally refine my mesh at the points of oscillation, which causes the termination.
