Hi Aditya, Thanks for the report! I guess this is certainly possible, however it's a bit challenging to do this properly with the high-order elements and the amount of data required to store a linear interpolation is pretty big. We might consider just dumping the linear mesh so this could be viewed as a snapshot. I will add an issue to our bug tracker and we can look to see if this is feasible. Cheers, Dave

I noticed that the output I/O lacks the mesh connectivity information and so it cannot be directly opened in any visualization software for post-processing. and It has to be converted to either vtu or tecplot format. I don't have much experience with the hdf5 data format, and so I wanted to know if it would be possible to add the mesh info to the output hdf5 file so that i can directly open the file in visit for post-processing.
