Hi Spencer,
Thanks a lot!

Hi,

They represent different forms of polynomial expansions.

Modified represents a modal or hierarchical expansion

GLL_Lagrange is the Lagrange polynomial at the Gauss Lobatto Legendre quadrature point zeros with consistent integration points for a linear mapping. This is a nodal expansion.

GLL_Lagrange_SEM is the Lagrange polynomial at the Gauss Lobatto Legendre quadrature point but with the quadrature points using the same points which leads to some additional collocation properties. This is also a nodal expansion.

Cheers,
Spencer.

Hi all,
i need to know what is the different between the three types in order to expansion my mesh cells

Nodal SEM GLL_LAGRANGE_SEM

Thanks,
