Hi,
We have merged the branch feature/FieldConvertEquiSpaced into master. This allows one to specify the module -m equispacedoutput and it will output the field points at truly equispaced points (not along the collapsed co-ordinates) which reduces the amount of data particularly in tetrahedrons. This feature is set up for Tris, quads, Tets and Prisms but not Pyramids or Hex’s yet. Currently the final output is only set up for the tecplot .dat file that can be read by tecplot or visit.
The branch also allows for isocontour extraction from this equispaced output. Details of how to do this have been added to the user guide documentation.
Cheers,
Spencer.
