Dear all, You can imagine the expresion on my face when I learnt that this weekend's competition was cancelled. I've been trying to convince the Sheffield Uni captain to stick with the event but it seems as though it was hopeless. I am really disapointed as myself and the coaches would have been elated to watch you kick some a**. For now, I hope you have/ are trying to get a refund from your bus tickets. Because I don't want you to be put off by this unexpected outcome, and want to make sure you'll be even more excited to take part in the next tournament, we will try our best to get some sort of refund from the Union. Although I'm not counting on it too much, I have emailed the Union finance officer to see whether they could be of any help. For now, make sure you try everything to get your money back from National Express. It's most likely the service ont the bus line to sheffield will be distracted, so you will probably get reimbursed anyway. On a separate note, I hope everyone who has attended the introductory session at the gym las monday has arranged a fixture for next week's gym session with their respective groups in order to benefit from individual weight program.
