Hi everyone, Competitions coming up: 1. London International Judo (www.londonjudointernational.co.uk) * Date: 11th (kyu grade only) - 12th (open category) February * (Kyu grades can enter both categories if desired) * Fee: Heavily subsidised - < 5 pounds, probably free (actually 15 pounds / category). 2. University of Sheffield International Student Team Competition (www.sheffield.ac.uk/~jc) * Date: 25th - 26th February * Fee: 17 pounds (for accomodation and meals over the weekend), competition is paid for. * Transport paid for as well <<Beginners - don't feel that you're not good enough to compete. We encourage you to have a go just for the sake of experience, and a good time together (especially Sheffield! - it's really actually a weekend party with a judo comp in the spare time).
