Hi everyone! The University of Warwick 8th Annual Judo Competition is happening on Saturday 23th January 2016. The competition is open to all grades and is a great opportunity to have a go at competitive judo. It is being held at Main Sports Centre, University of Warwick, Coventry, CV4 7AL which is only a 2 hour train ride away. Entries cost £15 In addition to the entry fee there are the following options as Warwick will be providing "accommodation" (sleeping bags required...) as well as pizza and a night out in Kasbah! Code Extras Cost 0 No Addition - 1 Social £5 2 Meal £8 3 Friday Accommodation £10 4 Saturday Accommodation £10 5 Accommodation Offer: Friday and Saturday Accommodation £15 6 ALL IN DEAL: Codes 1, 2 and 5 £25 The event is split into "novices", "intermediate" and "advanced" so everybody has a good chance of coming away with a medal. The different groups are: Groups Group A: Women- 3rd Kyu and Below (U48 kg, U52 kg, U57 kg, U63 kg, U72 kg, U78 kg, Over 78 kg) Group B: Women- 2nd Kyu and Above (U48 kg, U52 kg, U57 kg, U63 kg, U72 kg, U78 kg, Over 78 kg) Group C: Men- Novice- 4th Kyu and Below (U60 kg, U66 kg, U73 kg, U81 kg, U90 kg, U100 kg, Over 100 kg) Group D (Team): Men- Intermediate- 2nd Kyu and Below (U66 kg, U73 kg, U81 kg, U90 kg, O90kg) Group E (Team): Men- Advanced- 1st Kyu and Above (U66 kg, U73 kg, U81 kg, U90 If you are interested, then please reply to this email by 1st January 2016 with your: · Name · Gender · Grade · Actual weight · License No. As well as which of the extras you would like. Hey all! The University of Warwick will be hosting our 8th annual Judo competition this coming January! This competition is focused on creating an enjoyable environment for a day of friendly competitive judo for the lower grades. Additionally, men's dan and higher kyu grade judokas can compete in the men's team competition for a bit of warmhearted university rivalry. After that, we'll all be going for a drinks, pizza and a night out in coventry's Kasbah club for a bit of banter. Attached is the entry form for the competition. Simply enter your team details into the entry form and send it back to this email before the deadline. The deadline for entering your team is the 8th of January. Any entries and payment after set date will incur an additional late-entry fee. Please post payment to the address mentioned in the entry form. All additional information is on the entry form.
