Hello all, On Saturday December 4th there will be a Kyu Grade competition organised by Sheffield University, which I’ve mentioned a few times before. It would be great to have some people competing. I myself will be attending, though a knee injury has prevented me from actually fighting. Our deadline for entering competitors is the 27th of November (i.e. next Saturday). I’ve attached a link to a spreadsheet for you to put your name and stats into if you would like to compete. https://imperiallondon-my.sharepoint.com/:x:/g/personal/nfg18_ic_ac_uk/EZx-D... The entry is £20 per person, and we haven’t organised any official mode of transport so you’d also need to figure out the most convenient way for you to get there. Since it starts in the morning you may even have to arrive the night before and find somewhere to stay the night. To compete you need to have a BJA license (if you’re licensed in another country you need it transferred over, this can be done by bringing in proof of your license to Glenn along with your BJA booklet/license). If you’re still a white belt but have your license and are interested in the possibility of competing, put in your name and put ‘ungraded‘ under grade. We may be able to quickly grade you this week before entering your name. Don’t hesitate to ask any questions if you’re unsure about something. For more details take a look at Sheffield Uni’s online materials. https://fb.me/e/1Sg9CpemS?ti=icl Regards, Nicolas
