Hello all, I’ve added a section for BUCS to the competition interest sheet: https://imperiallondon-my.sharepoint.com/:x:/g/personal/nfg18_ic_ac_uk/EZx-D... BUCS is basically the biggest event of the year. It’s the organisation that oversees higher education sport for the United Kingdom and they hold a Judo event every year. This year it’ll be at the University of Wolverhampton (Walsall) campus, which is also where the British Judo Association is based, so extra special. Anyway, the entry deadline isn’t till the 15th of February (the competition is 26th-27th Feb) but we want to start getting an idea of who might be going. Not just out of interest but also because we need to sort out our membership system with Imperial Athletes, and that’s closely related to BUCS. We want to make the system is good as possible for you. More info about BUCS: https://www.bucs.org.uk/events-page/judo-championships-2021-22.html Also reminder that we’ve got a session tomorrow (wednesday) in the nice room. Please do put your name down if you’re interested! https://imperiallondon-my.sharepoint.com/:x:/g/personal/nfg18_ic_ac_uk/EdLXD... We need a few people for a session but don’t think that few people means a bad session. This Monday was fairly low numbers but we still looked at some very novel and effective variations/combinations/entries for kesagatame. Regards, Nicolas
