Hey guys, we are invited to hold a little demo-session in the new sports centre (details below). Haven't had time yet to gather all the details, but it looks like we are supposed to be there from 13.30 to 15:00 on the 26. of April. It is worth the effort, I'd say. The IC sports development office has paid for BUSA and will pay for the Holland trip as well. Does anyone have time? Would be good if we could do it, promoting Judo at IC etc... ok it is late am repeating myself.. Will figure out if the mats are there already. As you may or may not be aware we are opening the new sports centre here in South Ken on Wednesday 26th April 2006. As part of the opening we are looking to put on a sports showcase and were hoping that you and the Judo club would help us do this. We would be asking that you gather at least 8 students together and do a session in the main sports hall for the following 1.5 hour time slot. 13.30 Sports showcase students arrive to change. Changing will occur in the changing rooms and not in the sports hall, squash courts or studio. Check all bags are not in the sporting areas. 13.45 Clubs to check all areas that have been set up by recreation assistants. Make any last minute changes if need be. 14.15 Showcase sports begin. The VIPS who will be officially opening the centre will be viewing this first showcase (all sports) including Sir Roger Bannister, 4 Olympic rowers, and Sir Richard Sykes, Rector of Imperial College London 15.00 Break from show case sports It would be great if you could do this with the Imperial club and perhaps UL, as long as there were no UL tops on show and coordinate it.
