The British University and Colleges Sports (BUCS) Championships
will be taking place in Sheffield
on the 20-21 February! This is the biggest and most important Judo competition on our calendar so I hope everyone signs up!
Weigh-ins are on Friday night and we will travel there and back together.
There is an individual competition for Dan grades (1st Kyu and above) and Kyu grades, as well as a team competition. For the Kyu grades there is a minimum grade requirement of 4th kyu (orange belt).
If you aren’t yet an orange belt but want to participate don’t worry! Speak to Me/Alvise/Glenn and we’ll see whether you can be promoted in time.

Entry costs around £20 and you will have to pay transport and lodging costs, however we will see whether the club can subsidise some of it.
