Hello all,

To any regular beginners, we hope you’re enjoying the sessions! If you’re a beginner and you haven’t done so already, please now acquire a BJA membership to continue. As explained in a past email, the Student Voucher Scheme will give you a license, a grading, and a uniform, all for £30. At the rate the Union is taking to approve purchases, this will actually be the quickest way to start training with a gi anyway, but more than that you need to be insured to train Judo. Having the license, you can also train in any other dojo.

To any graded kyu members, the Sheffield Judo Club is organising a Kyu grade competition on Saturday 4th December, a month from now. We’ll let you know what needs to be done soon, but if you’re interested make sure to keep that day free.
