I know everyone is focused on BUCS but the USIST entry deadline is coming up in 2 weeks.

University of Sheffield International Students Team Tournament

 

Event Date:  Saturday 12^th March 2016

 

Venue: Goodwin Sports Centre, Northumberland Road, Sheffield, South Yorkshire S10 2TY

 

Format: The competition will be fought by teams consisting of 4 men and 2 women. The team composition is as follows:

Men: 1 x Under 73kg; 1 x Under 81; 1 x Under 90kg; 1 x Over 90kg.

Women: 1 x Under 63kg; 1 x Over 63kg.

Players are given the option to be weighed either on the day (Saturday 12^th), or the night before (Friday 11^th).

The women’s category has been changed from previous years to accommodate more lightweight players. Players can fight one weight category above.

 

Entry Fee:

 

Team Fee	£75
Per Person	£20

 

The £20 fee includes participation in the competition, food throughout Saturday (including evening meal) and breakfast on Sunday, party on Saturday night (includes entry to boat race, and night club entry) and overnight accommodation on Friday and Saturday nights.

08:00 - 09:00 Weighing In - After Registration
09:00 - 13:00 First Round Pools and First Round Knockouts
14:00 - 16:00 Repechages, Semi-finals, and Final
16:30 Medal and Prize-giving Ceremony
19:00 - 23:00 Pub & Boatrace
23:00 Club Night

Sunday

09:00 - 10:00 Breakfast
10:00 Goodbye!
