Hi everyone!
Hope you are all doing well with the end of term/year coming soon, we have exciting stuff going on :)
Christmas Diner
We will have our annual Christmas diner on the
14th of December. Please confirm that you are coming and where you want to go by taking part in the survey on our Facebook page
here. That would be a great time to celebrate the end of the term together and to have a good time with the new friends you have made on the mats!
We hope to see lots of you there!
Judo Camps
If you want to improve your Judo over the break and make new friends, one of the best opportunity you have is Judo Camps. Luckily, we have 2 different ones going on during the holidays. The
first one is in the UK (Kent) with a VERY international crew (details
here – from the
16th to the 19th of December). The other one is in France and the sessions will be run by a 8th Dan: Hiroshi Katanish from the
27th to the 29th of December (details attached – The document is in French but email me back or PM me on Facebook if you want to go).
Competition
The next competition coming up is the Ecole Polytechnique one, in France on the
28th of January. Everything part of the transportation will be provided
FOR FREE. So if you are interested, please check your personal timetable this week and let me know very soon if you would like to come. That is a great opportunity to travel all together to a rather cool place
(I am not biased), train for BUCS and have good fun! Moreover, we might probably be able to get a training session in a very prestigious French Judo Club on the Friday and that is not to be missed! Please come back to me asap and let us know if you would like
to come by taking part in the event
here.
Trainings
Just to remind you: Friday session will be held until the end of the term at
Budokwai from 8 to 9:30pm for FREE, that is an amazing deal in an amazing club and you don’t want to miss it! After the break, we are coming back to the
Union Gym as it used to be from 9 to 11pm.
Membership and mat fees
Don’t forget to buy your membership AND to pay the mat fees if you have not done so. This vital for the club and could be done
here.
If you have any questions, do not hesitate to answer to this email or PM me on Facebook :)
