As usual, forgot to update the sheet.
Though of course, now that this is just for record keeping it’s irrelevant when I update it as long as you do eventually put yourself down if you come to a session.

That said, if you can think of ways we could improve our regular tasks, perhaps ways of streamlining attendance records and the like, you should definitely nominate yourself for a committee role for next year!

Nominations close this Friday and according to when we last checked we still need people for our top three positions. Don’t lose this opportunity to have a great bit of experience under your belt, whatever colour that belt may be.

Nicolas
Hello all,
Attendance sheet for next week:
https://imperiallondon-my.sharepoint.com/:x:/g/personal/nfg18_ic_ac_uk/EdLX…
Tomorrow you will be able to nominate yourself for 2022/23 Judo club committee positions. This is a really great opportunity to collect the kind of experience and skills employers are looking for, and will set you apart from a lot of other people. Additionally it’s a great tool to foster your judo journey, as you directly participate in the inner workings of a judo club. And if you’re interested in start-ups, or just any kind of leadership, well then here’s a chance to practice.
Seven positions are available:
Chair/president
Treasurer
Secretary
Media and Communications officer
Competition leads (x2)
Equipment Manager
I’ll post some info on the instagram account, as well as through email. Any questions just let us know. It’s a great thing to do and we’ve relearnt the process of running the club after its lockdown hiatus, and adapted the structure to suit the needs, so it won’t be as difficult for you.
Additionally, First Aid society is running a special seminar of interest to the martial arts clubs. I’ve attached the info below. I used to go to First Aid club in first year and i can tell you they’re absolutely great, so I recommend attending. Do fill in the form though so they can know numbers.
Regards,
Nicolas
