Judo fees, general email

Hello all, I just sent out specific emails to people who owe money in unpaid session fees. In case you are unaware of how to pay this fee, I shall explain. https://www.imperialcollegeunion.org/activities/a-to-z/judo If you go the linked page, log in. There should be a shop product corresponding to one session fee of £3. Purchase the required quantity to meet the debt I’ve emailed you. Note: to see the item, you need to be a member if the judo club on the union site. To this end you need to have Imperial Athletes, if you don’t already. Also, congratulations to Xiang Xu and Konstantinos Koupepas for being our most dedicated attendees! Regards, Nicolas

CANCELLATION FOR NEXT WEEK

Well everyone, you knew it was coming. In anticipation of the Union most likely mandating the cancellation of in-person CSP activity for the remainder of the term, next week’s judo sessions are cancelled. For anyone who was hoping to grade this week, you have two options. Either wait till judo (hopefully) resumes next term, or come along to Glenn’s morning sessions at the budokwai and he’ll grade you there. Sessions are 7:00-8:00am and £5 if you remind him you’re an imperial student. Let me know by email or whatsapp if you’re intending to do this. And usual provisos, bring your license. Address etc: https://budokwai.co.uk/timetable1 Also, I recommend getting into the habit of regular taking LFTs, maybe before going to a judo session if you’re planning on it. Comp, venue, gis

Hello all, First off: if you see Jed, Kevin, or Alex around, be sure to congratulate them, as they managed to bag 2 golds and 1 silver between them at the Sheffield competition! I will post photos and videos to Instagram soon. Two big updates: 1. Our wednesday venue has changed to Union Gym 16:00-18:00. This is the large, well lit room with mirrors on the top floor. As those of you who came last week will know, this room has some considerable advantages to our usual room. Unfortunately no change yet to the Monday venue. 2. We now have gis!!!! Therefore those of you who haven’t had the pleasure of a full judo experience yet will finally get to gear up and grip up. You will now be able to borrow gis for the session.
